What to Expect During a CoolSculpting® Treatment
The procedure may take one hour or several hours, depending on your goals and the area being treated. While you are undergoing treatment, you’ll be free to read, talk to a friend, or work on your phone as you like.
Since the procedure isn’t invasive and doesn’t require anesthesia, there is no downtime, which means you’re in, you’re out, and you’re back to your normal life.
In terms of the procedure, it’s pretty straightforward. One of our providers will apply a gel pad to your skin in the area being treated. This pad acts as a barrier between the cooling panel and your skin to minimize discomfort. The applicator will be adhered to your body and use controlled cooling to target and freeze fat cells, killing them for good.
You might feel sensations during the treatment such as mild pinching, intense cold, pulling, tugging, or similar in the area being treated. As the area goes numb throughout the treatment, these feelings will subside.
